Sorry, I don't have an extra kit. This is an easy DIY so give it a try.
correct me if im wrong. but i get that when i put my car in neutral with the OEM knob when i have my door open. so i guess it's normal and has nothing to do with the M5 knob. it's just warnign you that your car is in neutral that's all

That's what I concluded myself as well that's why I didn't take it as an issue. I realized I was parked on an incline area of my driveway when I was testing the neutral gear and thus the warning.

Sorry, don't know. It shouldn't be so hard so you should be able to do it yourself. Good luck.

Looks good!

The parts needed for the harness are listed in section Part #2 - Harness components. Every component is listed with the required quantity (eg QTY: 3) and part number (eg PN: xxxxxxxx) info. Guess I'll grade my DIY a 0 for clarity?

The pins I've chosen come with wires already connected to them so you don't need any additional wires.

My only problem is the power for the knob. The Rixter vent gauge that I have uses the same location on their power harness but I should be able to make it work. Great write up. Thanks!

^^ Coolness!

Awesome man! I like the colors of the jackets/shrink wraps you used. Looks really cool.

Btw, you can also tape the wires so they are even nicely grouped together.

The knob blends very nicely with your alum trim. That thing is tiny!

Congrats on being the first!
