Does anyone knows a good shop in the area that does coilover installations?

I went to this one performance shop in Howard County, MD. This dude wanted to charge me $700 dollars for the installation.

what shop was that? i would think most shops would charge 3-5 hrs worth of labor, so anything south of $500 would make sense (not that I would pay that much).

did you try AtSpeed Motorsports in Hanover?

Billy Wise - BAP Racing in Silver Spring

He does lots of work for guys over at 6 Speed Online and the Mid-Atlantic CObra Association.

I've got Patrick at Pro Imports in Rockville putting on my KW's as soon as they come in. He's charging me $396, which includes the alignment and two subsequent adjustments, and he's done several KW e9x installs. I got his name from another post on one of these boards.

if you ever plan to make a trip up to the NYC area, Matt from the forum (itsbrokeagain) does coil installs for $150. Many of us in the NY area have used him for installs and he does a perfect job.

If you were here in California, then I'd recommend Supreme for their installations!

That's a good deal. I've done my alignment with them before, they run a clean shop.

They also sell KW coilovers.

That's good to hear. I talked to Patrick last night, and it looks like everything will be in today or tomorrow. Early next week will be the install date. He's also putting on a BMW Perf exhaust I picked up from Tischer. I'll report back after the install.

Had patrick put mine on too. His recommended settings are just a little too stiff with the stock 17" rft's. Speed bumps being harsher than my father's m5 on firmest EDC isn't fun. Make sure you take it over some bumps before you accept the settings, as it's a pain to put the trunk back together.
