Exhaust ?s

Ok i did some researching but I couldnt find all the answers to my question. So I figured you guys would be able to answer them a little faster.

1. What is the loudest/meanest sounding catback exhaust for the e92 right now. (or what would get me closest to sounding like my friends ctsv with the billy goat exhaust?)

2. Does putting exhaust on throw codes or void your warranty?

Tough choice but the Eisenmann Race is one of the more aggressive setups out there. You can also go for the Agency Power 335i exhaust. Both are straight through designs that are fairly aggressive.

An exhaust will not throw codes on your car and does not void the warranty outright- the dealer must prove that an exhaust is causing an issue with the car before voiding the warranty.

everything nick just said... oh and i think your friend has a billy boat not billy goat exhaust. billy goats make annoying noises and are usually found grazing in farms.

however i do have an eisenmann race and it does not sound like a goat, more like a PISSED OFF lion.

Just to clarify, if you include downpipes as part of the exhaust, and you remove the cats (go with catless downs) AND put on a catback exhaust, you will definitely get a code. However, installing an O2 Simulator will take care of that. And believe me, it is LOUD.

Just be prepared to donate your first born, a testicle, couple fingers, your right leg, and a couple nights with your wife/girlfriend for just the section 3 Eisenmann. Not to mention it sounds ridiculously stupid on a 3 series.

The second part is my opinion - first part is true

the O2 sim and catless with rear Bastuck section is really nice with a deep growl at low rpms and a higher pitch at higher RPMS. No drone too.

When you remove the secondary cats and go all catless, it does sound really aggressive.

here is a video:

That's what an Eisenmann Race will do to you...."turn heads"

Bastuck has been an insane combo for the 335i for those wanting a tamer beast.
