I was going to grab a thin-walled socked from someone at work but wanted to know what the OD was before I just "guessed".

Can someone get a quick measurment with the micrometers?

Pretty sure you need to buy the BMW socket, not expensive from tishner.

^Don't get it from Tischer, that's where I got it from and it cost me 60 bucks.

OP, go to the link for the post I included in one of the replies, scroll to what lawdude had to say, he found a place online that sells it for under 30 bucks. You should check it out.......

I don't have a caliper handy but a quick check looks like 17.5 mm OD. Remember, it is 12 point.
