VK FMIC Questions

Before pulling the trigger on this FMIC I was wondering if anyone has installed this unit in a E90 equipped w/factory M-Tech?? I was watching the install video on VK's website and it looked easy enough but that particular install appeared to be done on a car with the stock bumper, not the M-Tech.Is the install on a car w/M-Tech more involved??Any problems with fitment??Any advice is appreciated...thnx

I actually installed it on a local customer car with the M-tech kit without any issues. However, I know there are a few people that ordered that are e90's that should chim-in.

I have a 2008 sdn with the m-tech kit installed at port of entry when I ordered the car. the intercooler fits fine. the underside of the front bumper does not have to be flexed to slide the factory intercooler out or in the installation of the new intercooler. the only issue that I had was that the undertray (possibly different with the m-tech kit) was tight because of the slightly lower position of the bottom of the new intercooler. (the new unit is taller). I had to bend the undertray more than usual to install it but it is negligable.
