Having had both here is my breakdown: JB+ = Takes 5 minutes to install, no need to mess with the ecu at all, just un plug the battery. "ok" power increase, I got bored within a week JB3 = Install is more difficult, but worth it. You can load different types of maps, pedal switching, etc. More power and adjustable. It also depends on your personal driving style, maybe the JB+ will more than enough power for you, maybe not. We won't be able to tell.

I also offer a 100% trade-up for the JB+ if you decide to go for the JB3 within 6-months. This way you can start slower with an easier to install tune and when the need for more power comes you can update and get FULL credit toward your JB3 purchase If you are even asking the question then the answer is the JB3 as long as you're comfortable getting into the ECU. I think it would be more interesting to go with both! I have JB+ and I love it, but I am trapped in Seattle traffic for about 90% of my driving. I do want more power and am sure that I, along with a huge percent of JB+ owners, am going to upgrade for more power at some point. But for now I take my car in a lot and don't want to deal with the ECU really until the warranty is up. Either way going without either of them is not an option, give the JB+ a try and you can't lose mor than like $10 for shipping when you want more power.

Like mentioned above, JB3 is fastest tune, but takes more time to install.
JB+ is a slower tune compared to JB3, but takes 30 seconds to install.

I went with the JB+ due to the ease of installation. I'm currently running it at 90% and totally love it. It pulls way harder than stock, but as the other guys said the power is addicting and you might want more. I would say start with a JB+, see if you like it and then if you need more power upgrade to JB3 within 6 months to get the credit. For me, the JB+ is perfect and I'm keeping it. No plans to go beyond it.

My JB+ is on its way to me (USPS takes forever to ship to Europe ) With this tune installed I'll rather upgrade the hardware afterwards (FMIC, exhaust...). Getting a stronger tune like the JB3 is not really an option for me, as I don't like messing with the ECU, and getting into limp mode would freak the shit out of me
