Looks great but surprised no one mentioned cost. That seems kinda steep for the new lights. CamaroSS is selling his for much less (shipped). How does this compare?

plus, if we spend another $200, we can get true LEDs by Luis.

Can you PM me a better deal than the website states shipped to 93722?

Thanks!

We didn't develop this unit to be the cheapest on the market, but instead set out to make the best product available. There are other products out there, but ours does not require you to remove your headlight lenses to install rings, thus voiding the factory warranty, or cause any error codes like some other brands do. These may not be for everyone, but many are waiting for something such as this to arrive.

Interested in a set - pm me price shipped to 94115, please. Also, if this does not require headlights to be removed, does this mean that installation will not affect the warranty stickers on the headlights?

That's right!!! I'm a bargain hunter, wise shopper, whatever you call it. But I'll pay for quality (ie, I'll pay for Brandon's excellent vinyl work as soon as I can get down to SoCal again).

I'm just not 100% sold on how these are much better than camaroSS sets. Not saying these aren't good, just saying I'm not knowledgeable enough to know the difference. All I can see are pictures. If I could get side by side comparison, and this is better, I'd pay $300 for it no prob.

nevermind, no errors on these, then I'm all of it.

No stickers need to be removed, these install through the top door where the bulb for your angel eyes is located. Its a 3 step install:

1: plug in LED bulb

2: attach heat sink fin on the back of the bulb

3: plug in OEM wiring harness into ballast

Thats it

That is true - bit we have no intention of taking headlights apart as this will void any warranties on a very expensive pair of headlights.

There are also noticeable gaps present since they are using the Orion Angel Eye rings from umnitza. The AiBs install in 10 minutes and show what your e92 should have looked like from factory.

Can you take this same photo during the day, but with the camera not at eye level? I want to see the angel eyes when the camera isn't directly at eye level. Maybe raising the camera up a few feet.

I would love to see these lights next to the rd angel eyes, best way of convincing is putting next to the competition. I dont care about the price. I just need to see the difference to make my decision....

Here are some random outdoor shots, taken from several different angles, heights etc. The lowest shot would be at about 3 ft, medium is 5 ft, and highest would be about 6.5 ft

They seem much brighter than the RD's but in full sunlight they do look like they do the "disappearing halos" trick as well.

The HID's I have are bright enough to reflect off the back of other peoples cars, in full daylight. Not sure if you'd be able to do the same with these.

I do really like that they don't require a separate wiring harness, or ballasts however.

The disappearing halos issue you are referring to will always happen when you are using a 5000k light color, since it is virtually the same color temp as sunlight at noon. When sunlight reflects off of the rings during the day, it is reflecting the same color that the LED's are. The HID's may seem brighter during the day since the color is not competing with the color of sunlight (5000K-5500K) and because the inner ring is far too bright. My experience seeing the HID's on other e92s in person, the inner ring is significantly over lit, to the point of being blinding when at eye level
