Rear bumper and Trunk crushed...what should i replace with?
Well not the best "first post," but after owning my e92 335 coupe for only 3 months my sister backed into it in the driveway and ruined the whole rear bumper and smashed in the trunk pretty bad . I'm almost certain they will have to replace the trunk.
I want to get the CSL style trunk. Where should I go? I searched and found the carbon fiber one from Supremepower but i am over the cf stage and I'll end up painting it anyway. Anyone have this trunk? how is the fitment? As far as the rear bumper goes, any recommendations on what to go with besides stock? I plan on lowering the car, getting bbs lm wheels this summer, and probably putting the M tech front lip on. Since i'm replacing the rear bumper i'm wondering if there is a nice clean aftermarket one that isn't to aggresive. Any feedback would be appreciated. I'm going to get estimates today. thanks |

For the trunk, you can't go wrong with this: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=251766
For the rear, I'd go with M-Tech.

Hey thanks for the replys, keep the pics coming! Yea definately Vorsteiner CSL trunk, i'm torn on what rear bumper to go with. I'll probably keep the "335" off too, since they will be painting it fresh.
I'm kinda over CF personally and my car is my daily driver, and i don't want to go with the cf look. I had CF on my old e36 and my 350z. I think MTech rear would look great. Ducatti995, on the second pic, what rear is that? The OEM m3 or mtech? |
