I like Zaino Z-6 for QD. As for the Meg's, their products generally seem good. Maybe your QD bottle was subjected to excessive heat or cold at some point? I had a bottle of Z-6 in the trunk that froze one winter and wasn't the same afterward. I had to toss it.

Sounds like a case of bad product, probably over exposed to heat, then cold, and not fresh off the shelf.
Personally I would recommend to my customers that they get away from this consumer level product and take it up a few notches...........Try using Diamond's Blue Mist or Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer G14422 or their Synthetic Spray Detailer M135-16...... whatever brand it is that you choose as a QD, do not use these types of products in the direct sunlight or on panels that are intensly hot. I also dont recommend that you leave this bottle in your trunk as I have seen countless times where these bottles expand from the heat then crack and leak. As a result the product does fail from over exposure to this heat and will not perform properly. If it is kept in your trunk or car and used on a regular basis you should be replacing your bottle often depending on the frequency of usage which assume is daily. Hope this will help...... Quick Detailer is in reality a wax booster - i.e. not a wax by itself.
It does a great job of giving a short term 'wet look'. I wax my car 4x a year with NU Finish. Between, I use the QD and it looks awesome... a few days.

personally i would never buy an OTC QD. my favorite QD out there is FK1 #425
http://www.fk1usa.com/products-consumer.htm#425 i use this on my car after every wash. i drive my car about 80 miles a day, and this stuff works great at keeping the dust off! i only have to wash once a week! |

Ive used the red bottle and noticed hazing as well... i would have to go over it a few times just to get the product OFF. which sucks because i dont want to be touching it in the first place....
