At the time I only installed a sport spring on one side. Having the stock xi spring on the other side may have held up the sport spring side. The sport spring is about 1/2" shorter than the stock xi spring, so there may be a little drop, probably not a full 1/2" due to it being stiffer.

That explains it. Try doing the complete install, and then let us know

Well I wash the car and took some pics. The center of wheel to fender arch is 13 5/8" to 13 3/4" all around. This is Eibach up front and zsp on the rear. They have only been on for a day or two, so there may be more settling in the front. The drop is exactly what I was looking for and the new 713's from BarvarianX look great.

Springs installed on xi , some specs I found out(+/-1/8" each car will vary):

Zsp front 14 1/8"
Zsp rear 13 3/4"
Eibach front 13 3/4"
Eibach rear 13 1/8" (this is an estimate based on the Eibach being 5/8" shorter than the zsp)

For those wanting to get rid of the raised front without touching the rear, I have zsp fronts for sale, pm me.

You are correct. I bought them off ebay and it said for a 330xi. Turns out Part Number : 2085-140 is for an i. These springs fit no problem.

yes. I would recommend the eibach's all around, if you do just the i sport springs, you will still have the front rake

Is it safe to pair the eibach sport springs w/ stock shocks? I always thought that one needed to upgrade to a sport shock at the same time.

Does anyone know how the spring rates of the Zsp compare to the Eibach, or for that matter the H&R springs? I want to put a set on, but I'm torn about which way to go... My car is my daily driver and I don't want too harsh a ride, but the xi suspension has got to go... I'm less concerned with the drop than I am with ride quality and performance.

Thanks eyeteaguy... hadn't seen that before. H&Rs being a bit more firm than the Eibachs, I'm assuming.

Visually the zsp were ~1/2" shorter than the xi's. I figured if a xi is .8" higher than a non-zsp and a zsp is .6" lower than a non-zsp, I would have ended up with about 1.4".

Fender-to-ground 25 7/8"
Fender-to-center 14 1/4"

I'm a little disappointed with the results. Looks like I'm going to order an Eibach kit. Anyone have on the want to sell?
Did u swap in the ZSP shocks in the rear? I know the Dinan suspension upgrade for our XI cars swap all the springs and upgrade the rear shocks. I'm wondering if ride comfort/handling can be improved if we swap in ZSP shocks while swapping all springs with Eibach/H&R.
