Aftermarket equivalent of Sport suspension?
I want same drop as Msport. I don't want to pay to dealer 1500 usd.
So afteramarket, what's the alternative? From what I gather, for shocks: B4 Bilstein for Springs: ??? no idea. Can you suggest me something? I am in Europe so I can get Bilstein's (they are not pricey actually). But i need a matching spring set for them and Bilstein seem to only have coilovers or only shocks... no springs that match OEM sport. Help.... ![]()

thanks but I think eibach pro kit is 30 - 25 mm lowering (front and back). koni fsd and eibach pro kit is very good combo Ive read a lot about, but dunno if that's same as sport - i reckon its lower. i dont want too low - we got rough winters with lots of snow, too low suspension will be a handicap in winter for sure.

I had the sport suspension and then went to the Koni FSD/Eiback Pro kit. The ride is more responsive without being uncomfortable and the height of the car dropped about an inch all around. Definitely a good route to go without being drastic ..... even with the winters referred to there isn't going to be an issue of the height being too low at all. My car is currently on 19" wheels and still has plenty of clearance with the wheel wells. Actually, more than I would prefer for the time being.

locally noone here will sell me konifsd-prostreet eibachs, only KoniFSD separate or together with KONI springs (which are 30mm all around lowering while Eibach do 30-25). So I've got no idea what KONI springs are like but thats my only good option here. I thought I'd try bilstein's but again I can't seem to find correct shocks to match it...

The Bilstein B4 damper is an OEM-quality replacement damper for someone who's not looking for a performance upgrade.
The Bilstein B6 damper is a direct replacement for the standard BMW damper, and is designed to be used only with standard (not-lowered) springs. It offers a higher quality damping rate with tighter tolerances as is considered a performance upgrade. However, it does not allow the car to be lowered at all. If you want the MSport look, with better ride quality and want to use Bilstein, then you need to get the Bilstein B12 kit - this uses the B8 damper (shorter than the B6) with matching lowered springs.

Just to point out - you are posting on the largely American part of the forum - 7/8am for you in Europe is 1/2am Eastern time in the States... demanding an instant reply within a five hour time period is not really going to happen, given most of America is sleeping!!!
