Thanks man ....
I posted in your thread but will mention here to. For the kind of swirls you have you're going to need to clean the paint first.

Clay
Menzerna Power Finish
Menzerna Polish PO85RD
Seal and possibly wax ....... wax isn't necessary for the protection so much as it is for the "wet look" .....

+1 NB is a terrific wax on dark cars. I like the look on my SB paint. I might have to try some Dodo this summer, too. ToadHollow has made some sales with this thread.

Thanks man.
Since I have yet to try the NB; how difficult is it to remove? Do you use the Optimum in conjunction with the removal of the wax?

The Rubbishboys Rub is a PITA no matter the condition of the paint. Maybe because it's a hard paste I guess. I've wanted to try the NB but always forget when I switch waxes.

I guess this is what Jet Black is really supposed to look like! Congratulations on the hard work and outstanding detail job Tony. I love the depth and gloss of the reflections and you can still see how deep the black paint really is.

This one truly shows how black Jet Black is supposed to be.

Dodo Juice Supernatural makes any color paint look outstanding. A great feature of SN is how easy it is to apply and remove. From what I've found, the durability holds up pretty well for a carnauba wax. One thing I know SN excels on is protection, it offers very tight water beading and really easy maintenance because of it.

Thanks again for posting pics of your Dodo'd BMW!

Enjoy,

George

I really appreciate the sample SN and since I've already used it all .... yeah, I like it THAT much ........ I'll be stepping up for the order very soon.
By the way, I wanted to know if there is any noticeable difference between this version of the Supernatural and the other version ..... version 2? Different texture or quality??

Thanks again G!

The differences are very minor. These a tiny bit more carnauba content in v2 (about 1%). It comes in a smaller container 200ml vs 250ml and it's in a plastic jar instead of the wooden one. The v2 wax in the plastic jar has no refill options, where the original wooden container does. As you deal with the discounted refills through Dodo, I believe they fill it up using the most recent version. The price on the v2 is certainly much easier to deal with up front, but I love the novelty of the hand crafted Supernatural wooden container.

Side by side, I don't think you'd notice a difference between the two waxes. You certainly won't be disappointed!

Thanks again, keep us posted on how long your SN lasts as well as the maintenance of your vehicle with SN on it.

All the best,

George

+2 for NB on dark cars, I put it on my AW E90 and my TI Silver X5 and it didnt give it the look I hoped for.

I'm thinking I'm going to go to the Supernatural V2 wax ........ more carnauba couldn't be a bad thing.

There is mention that the original Supernatural is easier to remove on DI's site.

This wax has a few differences from the traditional SN wax, such as:
  • Plastic container instead of the hand crafted jar
  • No refill option, like the traditional Supernatural Wax offers
  • Slightly higher (very minimal) carnauba content
  • Original Supernatural Wax is said to be easier to remove
  • Smaller amount of wax (200 ml vs 250 ml)

Your car looks beautiful...nice work, and sick shine!! Just picked up a Purple Haze sample, excited to get in on when I tackle the spring detail here very soon...after the damn pollen goes away.

Thanks man.
You'll love the Purple Haze! Once you have applied and are ready to remove ..... you'll want to use a good QD afterward to get whatever residue is left behind.
