Shifter Carrier Removal?
Does anyone have any tips on removing the shifter carrier assy? I have a 335i couple, trying to install the Rogue Engineering shift kit, and I'm having difficulty removing the carrier from the rear mounting bracket. There's not enough clearance to pull it completely out of the bracket, so the only option is to remove the bracket, I'm guessing. But, this is a HUGE PITA, the driveshaft and heat shield is in the way, so it's near impossible to get a wrench to remove the rear nut. Any other suggestions?
