OCDetailing: Part 4 Demolished '04 Maxima

We are finally here. Thank you so much for those that have hung around to look at the pictures. It does mean a lot. Although this was an extremely tiring detail it was well worth it as it was for a friend and a vehicle that needed a needed a lot of TLC.

Time worked: Approximately 4 days

A lesson i've learned, is to not detail cars for friends who let them get like that unless they are paying. They don't appreciate the work or the cost of supplies that goes into it.

For friends who are car guys, and generally take decent care of their vehicles, I will do it willingly and for free.

How did you take off the build up of brake dust found on the spokes of the wheels cause i have the same problem and it won't come off .. you have any tips? cause it seems like you got them off with no problem

Thanks for the comments everyone.

In terms of the brake dust a good wash with an APC to start off. If that doesn't work try something like P21S wheel cleaner. Becareful and use as directed. You don't want it too strong.

After you cleaned most of the grime off the wheels you can clay them.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Nick
