How to remove B-pillar trim

Anyone know how to remove the B-pillar trim?

I have some ticking noise in that area and read the SI B51 32 05 which asks to remove the trim using Repair Instructions with the numbers below:

RA 51 43 150
RA 51 43 148
RA 72 11 030

Remove the front trim piece (entrance cover strip). There are 2 tabs on the lower portion of the B pillar. Pull back and the clips will come off. Slide the lower trim piece out. You will then have either 2 rivets or 2 more clips visible on the upper B pillar that you need to pull off. After that slide the trim down and it will come off.

Which one is the entrance cover strip?

When you open the front door look down at the door sill. The plastic trim on top of the rubber weather strip.

Did you ever get this fixed as I have the same noise. I'm a bit hesitant to start pulling the trim off, for fear I can't get it back on properly so I was wondering how difficult it is. The noise is driving me nuts.

The noise disappeared actually not sure why so I neever opened this up. If it does reappear maybe we can try to figure this out together.
