I hooked mine up to the solid brown wire and the blue/white wire. I have a 2007 328i.

All you do is flash your high lights twice, just like, uh, flashing to pass.

hmm, the wires are tapped correctly, but i've tried many consecutive flashes but doesnt work, gonna try some more now, report back later

Dont want to seem insulting, but did you hook up the receiver to your current garage door opener button?

i replaced the garage opener button w/ this receiver, i did that b4 i hooked up the transmitter, the receiver works fine, im thinking the transmitter is defective as it may not send out any signal

e92 335i guys, if you get it to work please let me know, i havent got mine to work, tapped to those wires in the diy, the headlight switch works but not the highbeam stalk and the garage open/close without me knowing, it's collecting dust right now
