iDrive Q. - fast forward / rewind songs

Any idea how to fastforward or rewind a song with iDrive? For the life of me I cant figure it out

Not from idrive but you can from the steering wheel
Use the track forward/reverse buttons and hold it down
It doesn't fast forward by much but eventually you'll get there

I know it didn't solve your original question but I wasn't sure if you knew

I think the OP was referring to FF or Rew in the iDRIVE menu with the iDRIVE knob.

I was talking about FF or RWD in general, I had no idea how to do it! I assumed it wasn't possible within the iDrive menu set, but I knew there had to be a way to do it somehow! thanks guys

Glad you figured it out. Your first post led me to think that you wanted to do it "with iDRIVE."
