Engine Problem: "engine Malfunction, Reduce Speed" Problem.
Hi all! Does anyone have this constant problem on their cars? I have an E92 2008, and for the past 3 months I have this reoccuring problem 3 times already. Brought to the dealer they said it's the fuel injection problem. Did a lot of work on it. Sometimes hold my car for a week, because they said that they have to rewire the entire computer. This morning the problem occurs again. Same message "engine malfunction, reduce speed". About a week ago, I received a letter from BMW, stating that they recognized the problem and has extended the warranty to 120K miles. Regardless, I'm sick of bringing my car in every month to get it fix. Is there anything I can do like calling the headquarter and complain about this? But I don't know the phone #. Is there anything else BMW could have done beside extending the warranty? Thanks for the input.

Yes, I know it's the HPFP. But I'm getting it every month. Just got it fixed and replaced last month, now it's happening again. I don't have time to bring the car to the dealer every month to get it fix. Each time the turn around is abt 1 week.
