i have used them in the past and have had no problems, they're fine. as far as shipping time it only took me a couple of days to receive my parts but i'm in massachusetts which is very close to them.

My experience

I have generally heard very good things about them. My one experience with them was very bad - they failed to send me a muffler system I ordered - I cancelled the order - they then sent the system - hassle to get a refund.

However, I think that my experience was an exception.

Only used them twice so far, but both times received my stuff within 2 or 3 days, with no issues.

I have purchased from bavauto multiple times and every time they were great. They also sent out an "how-to" newsletters that are really decent.

Shop around

Bavarian Auto may be o.k., but shop around. They charged me $51.00 for shipping, when the postage on the box was $18.00. Morristown BMW has much better prices on parts and shipping.....IMHO

You didn't read the fine print!

Bavarian Autosport shipping and delivery information

Online orders for in-stock items placed by 1:00pm Eastern time Monday thru Friday ship the same day. Orders placed after 1:00pm ship the following business day.

You will hear from us. On the day we process your order you can expect an email from us detailing the shipping status of your order and providing tracking information. We may even call you to verify information if we have any questions.

If you are ordering in a time-sensitive situation - like you need it tomorrow - PLEASE GIVE US A CALL at 800.535.2002. The only way you can guarantee delivery in 1, 2, or 3 days is to speak with one of our sales representatives in person and confirm that we have the part available to ship immediately, that we have all of the correct shipping and billing information for you, and that we can get the part out the door today.

Please note:
Saturdays and Sundays do not count as shipping days; please take this into account when choosing your shipping method. For example: If we ship your order by 2 day service on Friday, count Monday as one shipping day and Tuesday as the second, you should have your package on Tuesday.
Orders placed after 1:00 PM Eastern time or on weekends will ship the next business day.
Orders for items which are not in-stock (e.g. custom embroidery, special orders, back-orders, etc.) will ship as soon as they become available. You will be advised of estimated delivery time.
Saturday delivery is not available.
Exceptions to our standard shipping charges apply to the following: - Oversized or heavy items such as wheels, brake rotors, exhaust systems, body parts, etc. - Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and internationally . For complete shipping information see our shipping policy.

Standard Shipping & Handling Charges For 48 States

All military addresses with an APO will be charged to the central location for military shipping and then assessed more charges by the vendor or whomever if they feel like it. I ship parts to my parents address and then they ship it to me here cheaper than I could. Pretty sad but it happens.

bought hamann alum pedals on mid sept and arrived only today which is around 2 months later. they had to back order it to germany then they said it didn't get in the shipping container the last time and so on. but the sales rep was quite friendly, reply my mails instantly everytime i inquire them. my case was probably just 1 in a million.
