Please Analyze my Datalogs 5/29 Map

E92
V3.2 5/29 Map Stage 1
BMS DCI
93 Octane

I am using default Tq values for 5/29 maps.

The cars feels a lot quicker and more powerful than the 2/19 maps which I was also running at default values and I am very pleased, however; when I datalogged it I found much higher boost values than I was expecting. I see 15 thru most of the curve and a small blip up to 16.2 right before the shift in second gear.

Can people who know what to look for take a look and let me know if I should back down the TQ settings or if this is expected. I have all datalogs that Shiv suggests so let me know if you need more than below.

Funny timing....I just ran a boost log yesterday after installing the forge DV's.

Here is my boost log.

On stage 1 with UT = 80% I am seeing around 15 psi with a shift spike of 16.8.
I have DCI and run 94 Octane with a 6AT.

You seem kind of high at 16 psi boost on stage 1, but it all depends upon ambient temps too. Boost pressure will rise with hotter intake temps because the air is thinner.

It was around 67F when I did my run, and I also have the VK intercooler keeping my intake temps cool.

The only thing I don't like about my boost curve is the little wobble after the gearshift at 9 secs into the run.

Other than that, I think both of our logs look pretty normal except that you have a much larger boost pressure drop at the shift......what upshift softening value are you using?

To know whether your UT is too high, you would have to log your timing advance curve using the BT tool to look for sharp dips which would indicate timing is being pulled.

At this point the procede software does not show full timing advance, but I understand that it will do so very soon.

Perhaps Shiv might comment, but he has been pretty low key lately.

Wish more people would post these kind of logs......it's nice to compare and see what they are supposed to look like.

they look good, you can try reducing TQ values and see if the car feels better. That is a bit high on boost IMO for pump w only DCI.

Yes....I figured that out later when I looked at your throttle position graph and saw you lifting off throttle between shifts.

That explains the bigger boost dip for you on the shift point compared to my 6AT.

I don't let off the gas, but the DME does close the throttle plate somewhat - just not a complete closure like the manual guys do.

Lowered TQ value from 74.xx to 72.xx. Boost dropped by about 1 PSI.
