Motorola E815 (Verizon)

I was wondering if anyone out there has this phone, since I do, and uses it in their E90? I have found some info about unlocking the bluetooth features on it so you can download the contact list, call log, etc. If anyone out there has tried this lemme know. And if anyone out there wants the info on how to unlock the phone lemme know, I have a link for that too.

I have an E815 with VZW and it works fine, no unlocking needed to use it in the E90.

Wait, so you're saying you can upload the contact list into the car's memory?

Unlocking has nothing to do with this. What they refer to unlocking is making Verizon bluetooth phone enabling certain profiles that Verizon disables like sending pictures over bluetooth or enabling the phone to work like a computer modem; Verizon disables those on purpose. The profiles that control phone book sync are enabled; e815 works fine with e90.

I got the new Motorola E815 the day after I picked up my car and it works perfectly and completely. Uploads your phone book with no problems. I recommend it. And it's on the list of Bimmer compatable phones too, by the way.
