Sumitomo HTR Z III?

I need to replace the stock run flats on my 335i and don't want to spend $1500 on non run flats. I was thinking generals but then I saw the Sumitomo HTR Z III and they seem to get some good reviews. Maybe I should pay the extra and get them. The generals seem to be bottom of the barrel. I mainly do city driving and I don't track the car so I suppose I am looking for:
1. some bang for the buck
2. not so loud
3. comfort
4. stiff sidewall (apparently the generals don't do so well on this)

Anyone try these tires? Are they any good?

Thanks

I had those on my Maxima years back.. Good bang for the buck but I'm pretty sure the sidewalls were soft. They might have changed though, don't think mine were the "III" revision. You can usually tell by the weight of the tire, if they're light compared to others with the same size, probably has a soft sidewal.

They have changed dramatically. The III version is a very large step up in dry and wet grip and has a quieter ride as well as faster steering response compared to the II. It is a great tire.

just found this thread:

http://m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=209635

I think I am going to buy these tires. The set of 4 will run me $50 more than the generals and they look like a better tire.

seems like everyone here is running with the generals but I think I will try the sumies.
