As above, in the correct place possibly, although above 170mph it will not register. Specs is more of a deterrent though.

No, because speed cameras don't prevent accidents.

how the hell did u remember all my posts!

anyway...don't get me wrong....loads of car drivers act like retards....

but some of these bikers do ride dangerously!....we r not talkin about lil chavs reving their engine like me and tryin to do some wheel spin at traffic lights...

here, i'm talkin about riders doing +100mph and going through traffic and causing other cars to move out of the way, pedestrians, cyclists, and even other bikes coming in different directions... etc...

there is a difference between having some fun and acting like your in a fast and furious movie!

Doughboy - good comments re. riding a bike. You've got to do it to fully understand.

I know what will happen. The local authorities will put a camera up, where a widening scheme may be better.

With so many deaths and injuries, it defies belief that the authorities haven't changed it substantially. This is what makes me sick about so called traffic calming measures. Simple 'revenue generating' schemes where a simple widening may be the answer.

In any walk of life where there were so many health and safety issues, companies and people would be held to account. Why not here?
