why does the lie lock let both tires spin and y doesnt both tires spin with out the line lock can you please explain?

When you are applying the brakes during a burnout, the rear brakes are also adding more friction to the rear tires which will prevent the "weak tire" from spinning, or causing it to spin slower.

If both tires have the same amount of friction, they will both spin.

It's the same concept as if one tire was on gravel and one was on concrete...the tire on the gravel will break traction, while the one on concrete will grip since it has more friction.

Keep in mind that this only HELPS to spin both wheels, it does not "force" both of them to spin.
If one tire still has more traction than the other, you will still have the "one wheel wonder".

Correct me if I am wrong OP.

The last time i had a line loc was on my 70 Chevelle SS.You want to talk about FUN!and dont foreget the money for the rear tires.Even though i had it just for my slicks,it somehow always got used with my street tires on.Always remember to put an extremely heavy coat of wax behind the rear wheels,and leave it on until after your done playing..

unless I'm mistaken on what you are referring to, brake standing is done w/ out a line lock

line lock is a much much better idea
