Two brothers, two porter cables, and two BMW’s …. Detailed - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

This past weekend my brother and his 04 ZHP sedan came down to hang out at our place for a few days and we decided it was the perfect opportunity to break in his new porter cable. We set out to only do exterior detailing as time and ambient temperature were working against us. Plus the conversation slowed us at times. Both cars were relatively clean before starting so no ugly betty to beauty queen shots here. (BTW, center caps are on order from Tischer)

Products used:

Wheels, Tires:

CG citrus and gloss
Wash mits
Soft hair brush
PB wheel sealant
303

Wheel wells/Engine Bay: (no pics, sorry)

Megs APC+
Soft hair brush
Dish washing scrubber brush
Megs hyper dressing

Wash:

Foam Master
Cg citrus wash and gloss
Wash mits

Paint correction/protection:

Megs clay
Megs last touch (lube)
Porter cable
Menz IP (orange)
Menz 106 (white)
Menz 85 (blue)
CG JS 109

Trim:

303

(sorry for the over exposure on my AW E90, it was too friggen sunny for decent shots)

Finished up with a dip in the pool. It was 105 outside.

I had a great time hanging out and making the cars look great. Next time we'll have two seats to roll around on (I feel old) and we won't work in high 90's, low triple digits.

Lookin' sharp! Must have been a good time detailing with your brother. Hopefully next time the weather isn't as brutal! Results look great, congrats on a job well done.
