So you are telling me the guy has an M3, which is already pretty ostentatious with the hood and side vents, massive fenders, and all the go fast trinkets. Then on top of that he has body kits and rims. Then on top of that the car is painted FRIKING YELLOW?! Short of putting a giant "LOOK AT ME" sign on the roof of the car I don't think there is anything else he could possibly do to draw more attention to it. Screw the reason and post the pics.

Interesting, goes to show you how much people hate being told what to do, especially when it includes "you better not or else". I'm sure if you had spoke with the owner and he had simply asked you to hold off on posting them (please?? is that too much??) this poll would be skewed the other way.

Don't worry too much, I'll have about 50 non cell phone photos for people to look at in about 24 hours.

As I said, it's not like the owner doesn't want the car to be seen, we just wanted all of the modifications to be on the car and perfect before having people post photos all over.

I liked the story in that thread more than the car itself. Promise.

They just poured some mustard on the poor M3 and nailed some planks to the front and back. OR: The car looks better in person to justify this much attention.

If, as a car sponsor you don't want your project car to be seen or photographed un-finished or not in the best or incomplete situations, then the car should not be out in public view.... period.

Past project cars that I was involved in, the dam things were under lock and key all the time until release and in the off chance that something had to be done with the car off site, then the car would be cover trailered to location and only brought out for the work and then immediately back into the covered trailer all the time with someone watching the car.

If it is in public view then it is fair game... If the owner or IND was soo concerned about its "public image" then it would have never been out and about in the first place.

I agree with everyone here. Post the pictures. When you take a photograph, it's your property and you can do what you like. Besides it not like the owner asked you not to.

I am the owner of the car and I apologize for any frustration I caused in asking people to refrain from posting pictures. IND did a great job with the car and I felt it was the right thing to do to let them post first. They have released their pics. Feel free to post any and all pics.
