Raising car 1/4-1/2 inch- Alignment needed?

I currently have FK coilovers and the rear is slightly low for my tastes.

I want to raise the rear by .25-.50 of an inch, will I have to do an alignment again? Some say I do, some say anything less than half an inch isn't needed.

TIA.

Any bit of raise/lowering will throw off the alignment and hence will require re-alignment. If you plan to do further suspension upgrades I suggest you wait until you get those parts to do the coilover-raise and re-align.

Yes, it's best to get an alignment.

so everytime u make an adjustment you need an alignment? That kinda sux. alignments are so expensive. this is making me want to get the bmw perf kit instead.

Or you could get a lifetime alignment package from Firestone. Usually those with coilovers lower the car once or twice THEN get the alignment once they've got it dialed in.

Its not that bad actually. I would change the height only like once a year. Its the dampening that Id like to try a lot of different combos. coilover certainly souns like more fun than a bme perf suspension.
OP...how do you like them?

Sucks I would have to an alignment again, as alignment around here is $120 bucks and I just got an alignment last week.

I'm loving them. No regrets and saved a ton of cash from going with highsports instead of KW V1. Kind of wish I would have gone with the adjustable dampening FK's.
