Possibly nothing, possibly a whole lot more. Some dealerships don't look for tunes, some do. Depends more on what codes you have when/if they scan the car. Plus unlike a flash or ECU piggy, it's pretty visable hanging from the TMAP sensor. The JB+ was meant to be an easy on, easy off device, so I'd say take it off

More likely than not they will just make a notation in your file for use later and not tell you they saw it. It will likely only come up if you come in for some expensive warranty work, that's when they tell you they are not honoring the warranty because of the noted presence of a tuning device.

If this has occurred, I suggest the following:
Find out of they saw it. If so, find out if your warranty is voided. If so, Buy a JB3, catless DPs, full exhaust, etc. because you no longer have a reason not to. |

they dont just void your warranty the moment they see something they only start to give you trouble if you have engine issues later, and still have your mods visibly there, and could have been the cause of your issue, its not like an auto destroy warranty switch, thats illegal

It would be illegal for them to not fix your interior trim or radio due to having a tune. You can only void the warranty on problems that arise due to the aftermarket part. |

If a part of the car gets damaged by the tune, its completely legal for them to void your warranty on that part, but like the above post said, if its unrelated they still have to warranty it.

A guy who used to post here had his warranty voided for an intake and some missing screws on the ECU cover. He had a chronic (every few k miles) problem...some cam issue (VANOS solenoid I think), and I think they were just trying to avoid having to lemon it. I've had the same issue (bone stock, never modded unless the prior owner modded it), but he had it every few months. VANOS solenoid...no way a tune or intake would hurt that, but they still screwed him. I recomend leaving your car stock.
