In addition to the problems with space, loss of steam through the extensive piping, and the fact that you'd add extra lag just by virtue of installing a larger snail, wouldn't the extended piping create a significant amount of added lag? Seems impractical.

A lot of people seem to miss that, with this idea, the original turbos would remain in place, thus the low end response would remain the same. Back pressure would be roughly equal to the stock exhaust as the additional turbo would simply take the place of a muffler. |

although that set-up seems to be functional it says nothing for an already turbo'd car. let alone one as "cranky" as our dme.
