E92 Chrome Tips - 330 tips fit?

Does the part number 18-30-7-549-558 (e90 330 exhaust tips) fit on the e92 328i coupe? I guess it would be 2 of the left chrome tips

I've searched but still can't find answer.

So e90 330 2 left tips (18-30-7-549-558) will not do this time.

What makes these different from E90?
Why two part numbers 18-30-7-553-641/642?

Chrome Tips

over here we have 325iSE Coupe's, try part 82 12 9 410 924, they are off the E46 but they fit fine on the 325, not sure if 328's exhaust is bigger

There must be a difference if they have 2 different part numbers.
I havent held both together to see what it is

There are 2 numbers becuase 1 is a right tip, the other left

I have chrome tips on my 328i. The dealer put em in for free. I don't know if they are the 330i pipes or not, but they look :rocks:

Excellent.

Now I know that I have one less thing I need to persuade them to give me when I pick up my car.

Thanks for staying on focus E90Fleet. If you don't know the answer I guess I should just give up . Better yet i'll just take your word for it. Thanks again for the response .

PS: Get back to us if you do find the answer.

Just got the 330 sedan tips

The 330 tips (part no. 18-30-7-549-558) does not work, because the E92 tail tipes are cut on an angle. The top of the pipe is longer than the bottom. The 330 exhaust is a straight cut.

Can we get the e92 E92 330i chrome tips (18 30 7 553 641 + 18 30 7 553 642) here in the USA?

This has been bothering me for a while.

I have just been round to my local dealer to enquire about tips for the 325i SE coupe (UK). Originally I thought that part number: 82 12 0 398 334 which is for the 325i saloon would fit. The dealer had these in stock, looked them out and we tried to fit to a coupe. The left tip sort of went on, but the right tip was way too tight. Even forcing a bit it still wouldn't go on. The dealer is suggesting that part numbers:

18 307 553 641 and 18 307 553 642

are the correct ones for the 325i They are actually the part number for the 330i We are going to order those up and see if they fit ok.

My dealer is ordering the two part numbers (18 307 553 641 and 18 307 553 642) for me. They have to come from Germany so will take about 10 days. However, the dealer is getting a 330i coupe in the next couple of days, so they said they will take the tips off that and try on the 325i.

Fingers crossed
