As reported on E90POST HOMEPAGE.

Agreed, even on the 335d the mirrors are huge! The lines look softer as well dont know if I like it better than the current e93.

Interesting combo on an official BMW AG car : Coral red on Platinum Bronze metallic...
Didn't a member get cruelly ridiculed for ordering such a combo on his E93 many months ago

I looked at it over and over, can you describe what lines are softer? Other than the mirror, front bumper and front lights, there is really not much difference compared to the current E93...Maybe its just me.

Mirrors have something to do with a new euro requirement, they're all going big. Everyone will be swapping them to M3 replica's as soon as some MFG creates them anyway (if that hasn't already started)...

Looks like a new tail light treatment is definitely coming. The existing E93 (both regular and M3 variants) have red tail lights with a white strip at the bottom which encases an amber bulb for directional signal. These spy shots reveal an amber lens up top which encases what appears to be LED bulbs.
Very similar to what they did with the E46 'vert back in the 2004 model year... migrated to LED lights.

It almost looks like the entire taillight assembly is going to be smaller. Do we know whether the new taillights will be the same size with LEDs instead of the current configuration, or is it possible that the quarter paneling and trunk has been changed to accomodate a different design entirely? (did that make sense???)

I don't like the headlights, the mirrors, and it looks like the ride hight is higher..?
Also, there are no amber side markers...or they dont have those in germany?

The mirrors look like they're from the E90 sedans! LOL, guess it might not be the final design, fingers crossed

No, ugly amber side markers are not required in germany. And no the taillights are not smaller.

The mirrors are huge due to safety regulations...
Same goes for 200lb bumpers.. Same goes for more upright stance in latest cars (pedestrian safety) |
