2007 328i vs 2006 750i - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

i raced a 2006 750i in my 07 328i and i smoked him. both stock.. is this normal for a 750 or are they supposed to b faster than my caR?

yes. they are supposed to be faster than your car.

haha, i mean i can't really say if he sucked, its mostly stomp and go with those, they have some serious power..so if the race was from a dig..he should of annihilated you, a rolling race..probably even more. i've been embarrased by a 750 when i had my old g37

it's a heavier car.. with higher hp.. which means u may get off the line faster but if the road is long it should come back and smoke u.. MAYBE unless u've got some decent aero dynamics (drop, dforce.. but that's still minumal to single digit mph's) but those only come in to play at higher speeds.

usually, according to statistics.. we all call it as the driver sucked .. i;ve done the same with my 330i vs audi a8 and 745i isn't that much fast.. i slowed down cuz i wasn't in the mood to drive fast.

i agree, a lot of 7 series drivers aren't trying to drag..
but the 750 will embarrass the 328 on the highway..
i want to run with the new one, twin turbo..omg

Maybe the seat was still pushed back from his dad driving it and he couldn't fully reach the pedal.

i raced one recently in my 335i and he was keeping with me till 100mpg. Keep in mind my 335 is tuned but the 750 looked modded as well. VERY close race though mines a 6MT and he's obviously auto so i probably lost some time and boosts btwn shifts.
