e90 KW v2 on e92!!!

After months of driving with it and only realised recently when i was trying to raise the height. The KWv2 coileover set i have is for e90 sedan!!!! and still sits quite low after i tried to raise the height to the maximum.

i have contacted KW via email and no reply from them till now but found from their website, the shocks seem to have the same part number, only the springs are different.

Anyone knows, what will be the negative effect other than the height? different spring rate?

So, what is my option now other than buying a whole new'correct' Kw v2 set?
(i doubt they will offer just springs)

Will the H&R sport or Eibach pro kit fit correctly into the KW v2?
or shall i add in some rubber insert to raise the height?

expert please help!!!

I'm running e90 kw v2's in my e92 as well. According to the guy i purchased them off of, there shouldn’t be a difference, just part number.

But i doubt just different part number. Am sure it would mean something must be very different.Anyone can clarify this?

People on this forum seem to be cross-swapping Kws as well as h&r springs between e90's and e92s and i havent heard of any problems or differences as of yet. I'd also be curious to hear what exactly the difference is..

I've got a set of KW V2s for e92 that I'd like to swap the springs with an e90 set.

I have e92 spring signature F/R: KW2011/KW2012

Looking for e90 spring signature F/R: KW2023/KW2017

If you're local, I'm interested in swapping.

Any word on what the exact difference is between the e90 and e92 set?
