AA High Flow Cat Back vs. AE Catless

Can anyone compare either of these exhausts? I've searched but didn't find anything.

I'm looking for something that sounds good, but not offensively loud. Is there any benefit to the catless exhaust from AE vs. the High Flow Catted from AA? From what I've read, people seem to think highly of both systems.

The exhaust is going to be paired up with UR catted downpipes.

I was thinking to use high flow cats in replacement to the secondary cats (the first ones already removed) but i heard there is no much difference.
I'd also like to get some more opinions if someone tried it and tested it on Dyno.

Bump...

I guess I'll rephrase the question. Is there any significant difference running an exhaust with high flow cats like AA vs. the AE without the cats if using something like the Ultimate Racing high flow catted downpipes?

Thanks...

ull gain a little more power with the AE catless. If ur running UR Highflow catted dp's, im guessing u don't want it 2 smell. U'll be fine with the catless AE exhaust. It sounds good, no drone for everyday driving. The AA exhaust tend's to drone a little and is a little louder with any kind of downpipes.

Although i never knew AA made an exhaust with secondary cat's.

Thanks for the response. I'm really leaning towards the AE.

You're right, I don't want it to smell. I'd also like to be OK with emissions testing.

The AA exhaust I was referring to is here, and it says high flow cat back, so I assumed it had cats on it:

The AE exhaust I'm thinking of is here, dual tip though:

Im running AE catless with AR catless downpipes and it doesnt smell the slightest bit. When Im standing dirctly behind the tailpipes with the car running it smelss a little rich, but thats about it. If you havnt bought your DP's already I sugest you get the catless ones. You'll get alot more performance out of them.

+ 1... The AE exhaust is great for everyday, not too loud. but when u step on it, u can really hear it. In terms of smell, im running UR dps and ae catless and sometimes I do smell the gas, but most of the time its fine.

There are a lot of good options with high flow cats in on DP back exhausts if that is your choice.

Well, I decided to go with the AE exhaust!

So, when all is said and done my setup will be as follows:

BMS JB3 PnP
BMS DCI
Helix FMIC
Ultimate Racing HF Catted DPs
AE Dual Tip Exhaust w/ Cat Delete

Hope to have everything installed by the end of August. Figure I'll look into some coil-overs next spring...
