Polishing follow up

I am going to polish my Ti silver 330i. No real bad swirl marks even when looking under the halogen. I was going to start with Menz super intensive PO83 on an orange pad.

Can I follow up with PO85 on a white or blue or black pad or do I need to use 106FA and a white pad?

Don't use orange pad unless you have visible swirl marks. Evertime you polish you remove some of the clear coat. in your case just use white and black are more than what you need

^without seeing the car in person, that is impossible to tell

i've seen people finish with SIP no problem then jump to PO85RD. it's possible. however, if the SIP isn't finishing swirl free, i'd go 106FA with white or black before you move on to PO85

Don't start with SIP and orange. Impossible to say without seeing the car, but I would bet, based on your description, that 106FF + white followed by 85RD + black would be the combo to use.

in my opinion

SIP with an orange

then po85rd with a white or blue is really the shot.

the best person to ask would be shceer speed from what i see on about 80% of his work he uses the above process

hope that helps
