SpecC Detailed : BMW E90 Jerez Black M3

I don't remember exactly what color this is called. I think it's Jerez Black. Anyways, it's probably the cleanest car that's come to my garage yet. I barely needed to wash it. It was even waxed already.

The man wanted a one step detail. I figured I would use PO203S on uber green pad to take care of everything. For the most part, it worked great. Then I figured, why not give M205 a shot since these swirls aren't very deep at all. On some of the panels, I used M205 on 3M UK yellow pad with the Kevin Brown method. It doesn't but nearly as much as PO203S, but it finishes a lot better. There were other swirls and RDS that were impossible with just these two polishes, so I told him that it'd take more work to get the rest done.

Wash, dry, clay
Zym0l sponges
CG CWG
grit guards
DI waffle weave drying towel
Swissvax detail brush
Majestic solutions SGS - on door jams
ONR - on door jams
Swissvax blue clay
ONR clay lube

Paint correction
Makita 9227c
3M backing plate
3M UK yellow + meguiar's M205
Uber green pad + Menz PO203S
pad spur from AG

LSP
Duragloss 601 + 105
Victoria Red Concours

Wheels and tires
MS SGS - on tires and wheel wells
Swissvax pneu - tire dressing
P21S wheel gel
Swissvax wheel brush
DD spoke brush

Misc
Black wow
0000 steel wool + Meguiar's M105 on exhaust tips
1000W halogen lamps

PICTORS

Yes, these were taken when it got here.

M3 badging everywhere!

Last bit of beading....

And the bad

and this bad boy is ready FOR THIS!

M205 demo

POWARRRRRR

It was dark when I was done, and I needed to give the car back on the same day, so I just took a bunch of pictures in my garage.

Sorry I was a bit rushed today, so I couldn't take as many pictures as I wanted to. Enjoy.

Great job. I love that color... reminds me of carbon black on the e46 M3s.
