ok so im in my 320i e90 looking all happy. at the lights this guy pulls up in a vw golf with his gurl n revs his engine. im like LOL so i take my traction off n get redi 2 dust him. n guess wot CRACK i jus hear sumin rotatin n i cnt move . the embarassment. i know. lol i think its the propshaft coupling. anyone have any idea how much that would cost to replace? and if i need to rreplace the whole thing ? and is this a common problem ?

Wait let me get this straight... you think something to do with your driveline broke?

Sounds familiar.

It should be covered under warranty. The dealer I went to replaced the whole drive shaft assembly rather than just a coupling.

I don't think this is a common issue. Does is smell like diff fluid?

daam dealer said it was the diff which broke...the coupling was all fine n so was the prop. the dealer ALSO SAID 2-3 weeks as they dont have any diffs for my model in stock and the parts are on back order..
