Garage List
2009 BMW  [0.00]
2001 Subaru Impreza RS  [0.00]
Kind of a silly question:

For you DIY at home guys, what do you use to raise the car?

The floor jack I have doesn't have the clearance to get under the jackpoint and the ramps I have don't have the clearance from the front bumper.

I realise there are some who have lifts or do all their work in a "real" garage, but for those at home, what type of jack/ramp do you use?

Thanks,

Rhino ramps work fine for me on the front. Otherwise on my really low cars, I just drive over 1 or 2 2x4s to get enough clearance for my jack.

I have a the craftsman aluminum jack and it fits under my car just fine. It even clears the E30 M3 and its on H&R race springs. Before I got this jack I did the 2x6 trick.
