it does seem a little high but for a 3'' full exhaust from the turbo back i think thats what its going to cost ya. ya figure a 2.5'' catback is $1500-1700 for and extra .5'' and downpipes not bad at all

One question though. I thought changing out downpipes could void the warranty on the vehicle. Is that right or wrong?

I don't know that for sure. I thought I read that somewhere on the forum. You might want to ask them while youre at the dealership before you go ahead with plans for this.

Its a fantastic idea though if done right

i will check it out and let you know, if redoing the downpipes voids the warranty then i obviously won't do it, probably still do the catback at 3" though

They did not say that the downpipes would void the warranty they said that if a problem was caused by any kind of exhuast that it woudn't be covered under the warranty, so i guess it really depends on whether the down pipes would cause any issues?

i really don't see how a free flowing exhaust could cause a problem on a turbo car....maybe if the sensor in the exhaust broke than that would void the warranty on the sensor....

Well, don't free flowing exhausts affect the turbo's performance? If they do (like I'm pretty sure they do) then they'll make the turbos act differently than OEM. If they blow for any reason, then they will not be covered under warranty. Just my .02.
