Don't ask me why, but we had a goliath bird eating spider for a while when I was growing up... The fangs on these are known to get an inch long.

It was fucking evil....

Apparently there are other house spiders that are toxic like the hobo spiders. I'm not usually afraid of spiders but the toxic ones scare me- not to mention a lot of them look very similar except for very minor differences.
