I bought mine with sport/premium, xenons, new tires, Sirius ready and everything else except the navi for close to $20,000; sticker price was $29k Mine is also a CPO from 2007; but mine is stick shift and when I bought it had 36k miles. So I think you should negotiate, you may not save much but a $1000 less is a $1000 less. Keep in mind though that Edmunds.com lists that car for close to $32k. Something that helped me was that car had multiple dents and scratches so I made the dealer take the price of a paint job off the price of the car, just an idea. Good luck with the buy, if you finally get it you will not regret it! I know I don't

Agreed. Throw them an offer, chances are they will tell you something like "Sorry sir our prices are firm"
let it be. Let it sink in, chances are you will get a call back with a counter offer. Theresss ALWAYS negotiation when it comes to car sales. And hey, if you dont get a counter offer.... whats the worst that can happen?? you call them back 3 days later and buy it for asking price?? You dont have much to loose.... Win win situation. |

It was first purchased (not leased) July 07, so I have a pretty good factory warranty coverage for a 07 model.
Thanks for all your input guys. It just that trinity of options that I want is so freaking rare (navi, premium, sport) so I feel a bit anxious about this. Heck Ima throw them 28-29k today and see what happens. If all goes wrong, im gonna wait a month or two for CPO 08 models |

I would offer 28k and expect them to meet you half the way. Just don't fall for the argument that they already dropped the price 5k, because an asking price is not relavent to the selling price which is all you care about. Good luck

Just bought a 07 CPO 328i (two weeks ago), only options, sunroof, and auto tranny (sat. prep.) with 26k on it and I they sold it for $24,000. There are a lot of off- lease cars that have been CPO'd, and the market is really a buyer's, so tell the dealer you like the car, but are shopping around (looking as similar cars CPO cars) and make an offer. My car started out at $28k asking price, then lowered to $24,888, then to $24,000. Additionally, the dealer called twice after I left with counter offers, and then the deal was done.
All the best! |

A good way would be to check to see if the dealer has MANY of the same cars, and compare this with eBay prices ![]()
