Looks very clean but I'd ask for new rims at the very least - they seem quite curbed in the pics. Great looking car overall though!

How hard would it be to request new rims? I saw a CPO with a nice color combination a few weeks ago and was really turned off by the fact that all four rims had the worst curb rash I'd ever seen. At that point, I really wondered how that misuse translated to the level of care on the rest of the vehicle.

Not hard at all - "I'll give you $XX for the car, but only if you replace the curbed rims...". If this is a dealer, they'll likely do that to make the sale.

Wow, I wish I could find a CPO like that over here in the Bay Area...

it looks like it doesn't have the oil cooler.

Garage List
2007 BMW 335i  [0.00]
Manufactured in 10/06... most likely no oil cooler. Mine was manufactured in 05/07 and had the oil cooler.

BTW: You should be able to get this for wholesale, around $32-$33K. But if I were you, I'd make sure it has an oil cooler so you don't have to beg BMW for a retrofit.

Yea, i've been looking for one and came across this one also, not having an oil cooler is a huge deal breaker, and having to go through the bull to get it retrofitted is an annoyance. Id offer them 30k if i was you, and see if you can make a deal at 32k, as long as they are willing to put that oil cooler on, i wouldn't even be worried about the wheels.

I'd be more concerned with the wheels - they're a hell of a lot more expensive than the oil cooler. I'd ask for both to make the sale, but wheels should take priority unless you're planning on tracking the car...

Dinan oil cooler is ~2k. Wheels, I have no idea.

My other thought is you can buy cpo 335i's for 28-30k with less than 25k miles. I found about 5 that fit what I was looking for last month, so anything on the other side of 35k seems high to me.

Not in NY, the cheapest CPO 335i i could find was 32k, and it was a sedan. The cheapest CPO coupe was 35k. They are popular around here and the dealers know they can get that much if they hold off alittle.

It's the same here in California. If only CPO 335i was 28-30k here...

The car you note is essentially the same as mine. It's a great car and I've had no problems with mine...not even the HPFP issue has reared it's ugly head. Dealers in my area have been willing to sell e92's at 33-35K.

That sucks man! I hope you find what you are looking for soon. Don't worry though, it happens. When I was looking for my car the same thing that happened to you happened to me, but I eventually found the car I wanted. Take your time and don't rush into anything you find because acting on impulse isn't always good.

What is risk of not having an oil cooler? Finding alot of 2007's out there...

If decide against my orignial plans to put dinan stage 1 and leave it stock do I need oil cooler?
If anything happens wont it be under CPO anyway?

My old 2007 had an oil cooler... It was a 8/06 Production.... I thought all the manual sport packages came w/ them... If you want a great CPO e92 335i? http://www.bmwautohaus.com/web/1629/...St.%20Louis-MO (ignore the mislabel of "automatic")

You have to consider where the car is located/driven... in texas you find cars with no curb rash as there is plenty of parking everywhere you go... but up in Northeast it would be hard to find a car with no curb rash.

I saw one of these go for $33, 6, months ago when I was considering cpo.
