I got my 2nd SES code today after 2 weeks of driving Went in, re-checked all the connections and re-secured it w/ electrical tape. Hopefully it'll be ok.

I have a Procede Rev 1 and installed the BMS fix on the ECU harness as opposed to the Procede harness. This way if I need to remove the Procede on a dealer visit, the O2 sim will still work. I was very very very careful to not mix up the 2 yellow wires from the ECU harness when I extracted them originally, and I did a pull test to ensure all the pins were properly inserted.

The funny thing is, I've gone into the ECU box so many times, it only took me <15 mins to inspect. That's w/ 5-10 mins of double checking the wiring, lol.

Help, after another week, the SES/check engine light came on again, putting me into limp mode (reduced boost w/ PROcede).

I used an OBDII reader and there were no codes to clear. I did the key fob trick of re-inserting 5x to clear the SES light so I can regain power.

Is this because my O2 sim is not aggressive enough? Or, per the other thread responses, I need to clear a non-OBDII code w/ a BT tool?

If the latter, what a pita. Anybody in the San Jose that can help clear the hidden codes? I do not want to purchase a BT tool at this time, as I'm saving up for Rev 2 later.

The downpipe fix or o2 sim does not clear the codes, it only prevents them. Once stored in the cars system they need o be cleared!
