2009 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

All the European races are over. Teams are far away from home for the final stretch of the 2009 season. The slight revised Singapore track improve safety on pitlane entrance and exit, and a few tweaked corners to improve overtaking.

From last year's experience, teams are easier to cope with the weird race hours from adopting standard European hours and the racing under artifical lighting. And most of all, don't cheat.

Btw...anyone notice Hamilton was wearing "Reebok" racing gloves since Hungarian GP...when he signed a sponsorship with Reebok....

Didn't know Reebok also make FIA approved NOMEX racing gloves....

What normal hours???
not in west coast...its the same 5am pacific time like any other European races...

but Suzuka, Brazil....just around 11pm to midnight (japan) and 10am (brazil)....great for West coast viewers...

i'm new here and from Singapore. Looking forward to collect my e92 M3 AW 1st week of Oct and of course looking forward to the Singapore GP.

Will post pix after i pick up the car. It has been a painful 8 weeks of waiting, just 2 more or less to go.. Can't wait!

This is going to be another electrifying race. Hopefully, no more match fixing and cars racing with an external fuel piping attached to it :P

Weather update – cool and thunderstorms

It looks like being cooler than last year's inaugural race, with temperature highs between 28 and 29 degrees Celsius all weekend, and a strong likelihood of thunderstorms each day.
