Wow sounds good... I wonder if muffler delete works out a little better for E90s since they have a resonator and not an xpipe like the E92s.

The 545 has a Billy Boat with the resonator removed - FANTASTIC sound. Especially now that the system has settled in.

I wanted to do a cat-back on the 335, but jeez the price of the systems...

The muffler delete sounds good, but you hear it all the time. The 545 will mellow out at 70 and you don't hear the exhaust unless you start to step on the gas. With the 335 and no mufflers you hear the exhaust; it never goes away.

It's not too loud. I mean it's quieter then my '95 Mustang convertible with shorties, high-flow cat h-pipe, and 2-chamber flowmasters. The other Mustang is significantly louder - long tube headers, off-road x-pipe, 2 chamber flowmasters, and a vortech supercharger - you can't even listen to the radio in that car! And that used to be my daily driver... The FFR Cobra - forget about it you need ear plugs...

I am pretty happy for now. I'll keep my eyes open for a used system in the Spring time or so. I've got to tint the windows on the 335 and then get after rims for both BMWs next; that'll take priority over the exhaust upgrade.

Sounds good. The only thing that really concerns me about this mod is drone. I simply do too much daily driving to risk drone.

90% of drone is in between 2200-2400 just keep out of their and your good ...throw it in 5th on the highway
