Xede Ship Date..?? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Ok so if i order this thing when will i get it? has anyone that has ordered recieved theres??
I think i saw a post that said when he gets back from FL.

Can u please confirm this.. Also i think i saw somewhere when u order it doesnt charge you all right away??? anyone got exacts on this??

AFAIK they will be shipping out the week between x-mas and new years. They only charge $260 for the deposit, and the remainder when they ship.

I unfortunately just had to cancel my order due to some unexpected personal expenses

Guess I'll just have to wait another couple months.

I talked to the guys at Vishnu this past Friday and they indicated the first shipment would go out around X-mas. I ordered mine on 12/12/06, so I am in the second shipment and it should ship around 1st of the year.

Sounds great!!! the deposit of 260$ was taken for mine so hopefully ill get mine soon as well! havent seen any updates on there site yet so well keep this as the offical ship thread!!

Just a quick update: Due to the feedback we've gotten from our current customers, we're trying to reconfigure the system to directly control the factory boost control solenoids (instead of hooking up an additional aux. solenoid). This way, the underhood appearance would be completely stock. However, we have to do this in a way that is invisible to the factory ECU. This is what I'll be testing for the next couple of weeks, both in our car and in a few new local customers. We're also trying to incorporate two new features that we're sure you guys will like. All this while still following up with our current 30 or so beta testers that are putting their cars to the paces. A couple of which have given us feedback which needs to be addressed. As a company who specializes in this kind of stuff, we can only officially introduce a new product once so we want to make sure we do it right the first time. We dont expect to start mailing out kits until January at this point. And even then, we'll only be sending them out at a limited rate just to make sure that we can offer enough support as people start to install them. We'll know a lot more within the next 7-10 days and will be sure to keep you guys updated. We're all aware that everyone is very eager to juice up their 335s. And we're very eager to help you do it. We just want to do it right. So hang tight

Well I cant speak for everyone, but when i finally get the Xede, I want to make sure the process was done right the first time. Last thing anyone needs is for their car to get jacked up cause of it. January is fine by me!

Thanks for the update Shiv. I can say he really tries to look out for his customers. I had an appointment with him on 12/20 to "Xede" my car but he was nice enough to call me in the morning and let me know the solenoid was missing so he could not tune my car. He called me a couple days later giving me an update and letting me know he's in the process of making a few tweaks and would prefer to give me a better finished product. To make it short... good things come to those who wait. Looking forward to the 28th!

Although I do really wish you would tune my car with the race gas since it's just sitting in my garage now

I would rather wait to make sure feedback from the beta group is received and addressed. A month or so more will only make the day that much sweeter when it arrives.

I agree. I won't have my 335 till probably early March so it's easy for me to say this, but I'd rather wait and have all the bugs worked out before the mass production starts. I know Shiv hates making people wait, but this just shows how much of an honest businessman he is... he doesn't want the final product out unless it's right.
