Garage List
2008 M5  [0.00]
2006 330i  [0.00]
Even though higher horsepower cars generally equates to higher insurance rates, but they must take into consideration other factors that I don't fully understand. For example, I did an online quote with Geico (my current insurance company) and saw that the insurance on a 2007 Porsche Carerra 4S is only $60/6mo higher than the rate on my BMW 330i.

I currently have 100/300 coverage with $500 ded.

There is a difference between Kew Garden Hills and Kew Gardens. Kew Garden Hills is the Main Street side of Queens whereas Kew Gardens is on the Queens Blvd side seperated by the Van Wyck Expwy & Grand Central Pkwy. I grew up in Kew Garden Hills and I would agree that Kew Gardens is one the nicest places in NYC to live.

Maybe it's time I switched out of Geico because if people think Allstate is expensive, and they are $400 cheaper than Geico, then something is wrong here.

Do you live with people with bad driving records? Sometimes that will change the rate. The options you have on your car, like an alarm, day time running lights etc can lower your rates. If this is your "leisure" vehicle it is also cheaper.
