Do I have to oil and AFE intake?
Ask the titles states and yes I did
.I just did the recharge kit on my intake filter, but do I need to apply the oil to the filter or not, I bought it off someone on this forum without the box etc and he hasn't been online to answer, the filter is dry and want to put it back on. If it makes a difference the color of the filter is white, not the blue one like on 335's and made but afe going on a n/a car. I have the oil for it just wondering if it's supposed to be oiled. Thanks!

If you are certain the filter is dry, then you do not need to oil it (that's why it's dry
). The oiled intakes start out as blue out of the box but will turn white over time so you cannot tell after break in. |
