Question about aftermarket Headunit

So sometime this month i was planning on getting an aftermarket double din headunit. Ive been shopping around and everything and i saw someone on the forum selling the bezel for double dins. I have some questions about changine out my stock headunit with an aftermarket one. First of all i know i will lose the bluetooth from the stock but my aftermarket one comes with one so im good with that. What about BMW Assist? will i lose that too? IF i do how do i keep it?. Another question is how come i see that some people need to relocate their stock headunit and some people just get rid of it completely?. Im buying the pac-swican2 and the swi-jack. But i think those are just for steering wheel button capability. So help please. BMW Assist and Relocation. Thanks

Really, I actually went to have an Alpine CDA-105 installed and they said that the entire car would have to be re-wired b/c of the optical stereo cables. I was going to do everything...bluetooth, satellite, steering wheel controls; and a $800 install jumped up to a $1400 install. Plus, a lot of people on here told me that the car would not work right without the stock headunit.

I found out later that my car was pre-wired for Sirius, so I ended up installing that module and calling it good.
