I was sitting at a red light when a minivan blew through the stop light. A Monte Carlo going through the green light had to swerve to miss the van, but was going way over the speed limit, maybe 50 in a 35. He obviously lost control and hit a parked car and light post after spinning 180 degrees on a small inner city street. As I watched the green van continue without stopping, the driver of the Monte ran out, I assumed he was running into someones house to call the police. I followed the green van that ran the red to get the plate numbers. Went back to the scene, and low and behold the driver of the Monte Carlo actually took off on foot. Must be running for something. You think you do a good thing for someone, and they end up being the bad guy!

Guess he didn't want to be at the scene when the Cops showed up. Either way I'd hate to be either one of them.

Although its refreshing to know people like you are out there looking out for others.

If you witness an accident, make sure you make it known to the parties involved. Nothing more frustrating than trying to find a witness after an accident if you are involved and are not at fault.

i rem when a hurricane came down here and shut the power off for like a week, everyone kept going out looking for things to do in their car, no traffic lights, lots of stuff to stare at instead of the road, saw a ton of accidents, but i just left
